

Robbyn Spencer-Bennett is a Resident in Counseling, working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is a proud veteran, having honorably retired from the United States Air Force, and brings a unique and compassionate perspective to clinical work. Mrs. Spencer-Bennett holds dual Master’s degrees in Community Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from Norfolk State University. She firmly believes that every individual possesses the capacity for change and integrates ethical, evidence-based counseling practices into my work. Mrs. Spencer-Bennett’s approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and understanding that clients are the experts in their own lives. She is deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to navigate their challenges and achieve meaningful growth.

Mrs. Spencer-Bennett employs a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psycho-Educational Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy. Mrs. Spencer-Bennett ensures her practice is inclusive, affirming, and accessible to all. Her clinical focus includes working with individuals affected by trauma, personality disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Drawing from her military background and firsthand experience, Mrs. Spencer-Bennett specializes in supporting service members, first responders, law enforcement professionals, firefighters, and paramedics. She also specializes in counseling adolescents, teens, couples, and adults with a vast array of disorders and challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Relationship concerns, and many more.

She is dedicated to making a lasting difference through compassionate care, collaboration, and a deep respect for the individual journey of healing.
