

Currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, Kami brings a rich blend of clinical knowledge and heartfelt compassion to her work as a counseling intern. With over 25 years of experience in medication counseling and behavioral health—and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Saint Leo University—Kami draws from both clinical and medical expertise to support the well-being of children and adolescents.
Ms. Jackson draws on evidence-based therapies, including Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to create a warm, intuitive, and client-centered space where her clients can heal and thrive.
Beyond the therapy room, Ms. Jackson's passion for mental health equity powers her advocacy work—whether she’s breaking down barriers within the school-to-prison pipeline or empowering youth through mentoring and education. For children and teens navigating trauma, grief, identity questions, or emotional regulation challenges, Kami Jackson provides a steady, caring hand on the journey to resilience and self-confidence.
